By accessing or using Mnemo("the Service"), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Mnemo is a study and research tool that lets you upload documents, chat with your sources using AI-powered retrieval, and generate study materials such as flashcards, quizzes, summaries, and outlines.
You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.
You retain ownership of content you upload. By uploading content, you grant us a limited license to process, store, and transmit it solely to operate the Service. This includes sending text excerpts to third-party LLM providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, and Google) for AI-powered features such as chat, artifact generation, and embeddings. The complete list of sub-processors and their purposes is available in our Privacy Policy. We do not claim ownership of your content and will not use it for purposes unrelated to providing the Service.

Study materials and chat responses are generated by third-party large-language models provided by OpenAI, Anthropic, and Google. AI output may be inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated. You are responsible for verifying any AI-generated content before relying on it, especially for academic or professional purposes.
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you of material changes.
Our use of your personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes the data we collect, our sub-processors, your rights under applicable data protection laws (including the GDPR and CCPA), and how to exercise those rights.
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may request deletion of your account at any time by contacting privacy@mnemo.study. Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, OR PROFITS, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law provisions.
We may revise these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
